Dear Family and Friends,
Events of the week:
Temple trip. Our Stake President here is incredible. By chance, he was in our same temple session and then in the celestial room he just walks over to me, sits down, and asks if I have any questions about anything. Haha, I looked up in awe as he had read my mind and asked for explanations in the scriptures. He is a man of deep understanding and love for these people.
Shook the hand of an apostle for
the first time! Gary E Stevensen came and spent half of the day with us
missionaries. It is a powerful experience to see a man with the
priesthood keys of an apostle, especially after all that we teach people
everyday about priesthood keys. During his discussion with us I
strongly felt the spirit bear witness of his words and who he was as a
special witness of our savior Jesus Christ.
Later that night we stayed for the cultural dance for Elder Stevensen. Their dances are always so cool!
Had
a birthday party with the zone last night. Had a nice taco party with
our apartment after we did a nice puzzle together #domestic
Our
cute Jennifer, (11) who was scheduled to get baptized this Saturday,
had a lesson with us this week. We have been working so hard to help
her parents come back to church and have her grandma accept us on her
property. When we were there this week, the parents started screaming
at each other because of us and then the grandma came, screamed, and
threw us out.
Ran out of there really heavyhearted. Praying for Jenny in a house fulls of crazys.

to our lesson we have to fit between rebar. Probably should start
eating less if we have to keep doing that for the lessons lol
