Our friends, Annie and Rob MacPherson, went to Tahiti last week for vacation. They went out of there way to get a package from us to her!!! And they took pictures and videos! A mother's dream:)
Here's the text Annie wrote me:
I can honestly say we were blessed to see her. ON the way to her town, we passed so many church buildings, all which had the gates locked. When we saw this church building, we were so happy to see the gate unlocked. Then we saw a door open. We walked into the building, said hello, and a member, who spoke very good English greeted us. We told him we were looking for Sister Spencer. He said, "Let me call her." He tried two times, on the second try, she answered. She said she could meet us in about 20 minutes. Here she is walking to the church.
Impressive missionary spirit radiated from her!! She even had a hard time speaking English!! Her French is very good:) "She's so happy!" that's what Rob and I kept saying!! The timing was perfect. After visiting with her for about 20 minutes, they had a lesson to get to.
She is a great missionary, we could see it and feel it!
